Vixen Surface Treatment’s wet blasting machine has featured on the TV show, Wheeler Dealers numerous times over the past few years.
The latest season features returning host Mike Brewer and their new presenter Ant Anstead who restore cars for profit in their LA-based shop.
Inside the workshop contains one of Vixen’s Aquablast machines which has been designed to simultaneously blast components, making this an ideal choice for restoring cars.
The machine process cleans by flow and produces a soft finish with the water acting as a lubricant.
A few years ago, the producers of the show contacted Vixen when the previous host Edd China personally requested to try out the machine.
Our Sales Engineer Steve, went to visit Edd and gave him a demonstration on how to use different types of media to create specific finishes to a component.
Years later, the machine is still often used and has now ventured over to America for their newer seasons.
New host Ant Anstead is an internationally renowned car designer, who now uses the Aquablast 915 to blast clean a range of parts for classic cars such as Ford Capri and Volvo 850.
You can see the machine in action here. “They come up like new”.
Wheeler Dealers’ audience are sharing clips of Anstead using the machine, even the youngest of viewers.
